5 lessons of leadership of Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg has grown over the last 10 years, but not just old. Now has more experience and a well-defined mission. Currently has a leadership style that each time gaining more followers.  And although some of its fundamentes remain intact , their strategies have evolved.

These are 5 lessons we can learn from Zuckerberg:

1. Walk the path of hacker

In 2004, when I was a sophomore in college, he created facemash.com, a website that allowed students to assess the attractiveness of their partners. For this reason almost expelled Harvard. Three months later, a new project called thefacebook.com is released.

2. Learn from the best

In 2006, Zuckerberg rented a house in Palo Alto, originally planned to live there. He later said that if he could do it again, he’d stayed in Boston. But Zuckerberg said that the world of startups was alien to him and had much to learn from Silicon Valley.

3. Do not compromise your vision

In 2013, probably the most important in the history of time Facebook- Zuckerberg rejected a takeover bid billion dollars Yahoo. At 22 years old, shows that not doing it for money and is not willing to let someone else dictate the direction of your company.

4. Help others

Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, became the largest US philanthropists, donating more than $ 970 million in shares of Facebook. At 29, Zuckerberg is one of the youngest billionaires in the world and demonstrated a commitment to philanthropy much sooner than did people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs .

5. Find people smarter than you

Zuckerberg closed a deal to buy the mobile messaging service WhatsApp for 19 billion. He defended this figure saying the startup acquired 450 million users faster than any company in history. At the time it seemed much, but at a pace that will WhatsApp, Zuckerberg made a good investment.
